Sliding doors won't slide
I paid £4300 when buying a Peugeot 1007 from a main dealer in Preston. I have had persistent and regular problems with both electric doors and it has been back to the dealer 8 times in 8 months, they cannot fix it. I have asked for my money back and got trading standards involved as they won't give me my money back, just £2300, £2000 less than I bought it for 8 months ago! Can I do anything else apart from taking them to court?

No. It's more than 6 months since you bought it. All you can do is attempt to prove it was faulty on the day you bought it using the Supreme Court ruling Clegg v Olle Anderson (trading as Nordic Marine) 2003. Happily, even £4,300 is well within the small claims track limit of £5,000 and judges are usually more sympathetic to plaintiffs than co dealer defendants.
