The white one

My father recently passed away and my mother (aged 80) now lives alone in an area that is prone to some snow in winter (maybe 4 to 6 inches). She does not drive and I visit her daily, I currently drive a 2003 Ford Fiesta but am thinking of buying a 4WD car so I can get to her in almost any weather. I really don¹t need anything bigger than the Fiesta, I don't mind if it is diesel or petrol, I know there is the Fiat Panda and the Audi A3 Quattro but is there anything else in the
small to medium car range that has 4wd that you could suggest?
Price is not a particular issue.

The Yaris III based Toyota Urban Cruiser 1.4 D-4D is the lowest emission at under 130g/km. At time of writing, www.drivethedeal.com had: Toyota Urban Cruiser 1.4 D-4D 5dr 4WD £15,088, saving £1,278. In snow, tyre choice is more important than 4WD, so invest in a set of winter wheels and tyres. Yes, a FIAT Panda 4x4 is an alternative, but petrol makes more economic sense than diesel.
