In which we surf

With a budget of £5,000, I'm looking for a diesel ex-AA or BT or council van for my surfing holidays. The van will be converted to house surfboards and possibly a bed. I am based in Manchester and would like to know whether there are specific auctions or dealer that I should go to?

BCA has an LCV auction at Blackbushe every Thursday. Lots pick-ups, etc. BCA even uses ex AA Vauxhall Bravos as yard trucks. www.british-car-auctions.co.uk Note that LCVs are always sold plus VAT, so you have to add 15% VAT to the bidding price as well as buyers commission.
