Photocarp

I have just received a demand from the DVLA for £20 to renew my driving licence photograph as it "will shortly reach its expiry date". I have held a licence for 52 years and have never been asked for a new photograph in all that time. Is this some con-trick?

You have to renew the photo on a photocard driving licence every 10 years because you do not look the same as you did 10 years ago. That has always been the case with photocard licences.
