Cab forward

Time has come to replace my A6 Avant used as a Taxi in the local area. I’m considering a Citroen C5 Tourer, Diesel Automatic. What would the best engine size and trim options. The VED is a factor, the present renewal for the A6 comes up in September so this will be the approximate replacement date. Are there any other large volume station wagons I should consider?

I'd check out the new Mondeo, S-Max and Galaxy 2.0TDCI Powershifts, as these all come in under 160g/km CO2, which is low for cars of this size. Particularly for a 7-seater automatic. See S-Max and Galaxy test and video at:
