Automatic fearbox?
We have driven automatics for the last 30 years. 25 years with Toyota and no real problems other than disappointment in my wife's Yaris multimode "automatic" gearbox. I am about to change my first generation Corolla Verso automatic (best car ever) for the verso 1.8 TR M-drive S. I have driven it and it feels just like any automatic I have ever driven but I am picking up comments that the CVT is not as good as a conventional automatic gearbox. Any reassuring words, or otherwise? Having been disappointed in the Yaris multimode automatic gearbox I am nervous.
