I'm looking for a big people carrier to cope with our big family – we have a 4th child on the way. Most of the 7-seater cars on the market seem to be fine if you only need the 3rd row of seats occasionally but ultimately ask you to decide between usable luggage space or the 3rd row of seats. This seems to make them impractical for our family since we can't make that trade off. At the very least we need space for a pushchair in the boot for pretty much every journey. Cars that let you have three rows of seats AND carry a family's worth of luggage seem quite rare. The Chrysler Grand Voyager seems the obvious choice. Its only competition seems to be a couple of commercial vans that have been rebranded, from Mercedes and Hyundai. Are there any options that we've overlooked?

VW Caddy Maxi Life, Ssangyong Rodius, Hyundai i800, Renault Trafic extra long, Peugeot Expert kombi, Citroen Despatch kombi, VW Caravelle, MB Viano and, of course, the Grand Voyager.
