Hi Mickey Bo. I have this exact problem and I don't have a feed on the red live, but I do at the 40A fuse. I am guessing this is now the control module. What exactly is the fault with the control module and how would I fix it?

I thought I would update this, as I haev had my problem fixed!

The problem, was the sensor had stuck to closed which was fixed by a mechanic who happened to be looking at my fault with more care.
This is ensuring you have checked the blower motor actually works by running both 12V+ & - from the battery to either terminal on the blower fan.

Solution:

Using a 12v test (Prong type) with a crocodile end, push the prong into thick BROWN wire and touch the clip to any bare metal surfce (door pillar) and the short to earth clciked the sensor and my blowers came back to life.

This is not to say that it will work for everyone, but this had me foxed for a long time

Can you confirm the location of the "thick BROWN wire" please? I'm having the same issue and have checked all of the above (fuses, fan, etc.); just going to try your trick of re-setting (shorting) the sensor, but need to be sure of the location of the "thick BROWN wire" I'm dealing with.
