My guess is tinted windows won't help. Biggest thing with motion sickness is moving the head in non-motion directions and getting confused input from the inner ears.

I'd try getting her a toy dashboard and steering wheel, and getting her to 'help'. Such toys are cheap so if it doesn't work, you've not lost much. Bike riding is probably better, but I'm guessing she's too young to know how.

Hokka I am an adult that suffers badly with travel sickness that is related to being partially deaf. I'm only ok if I'm driving. What helps though, is a car with fresh air, no sudden cornering, breaking and an automatic as there is no gearchanging as such and defintely not tinted windows as your eyes need to be able to tell your brain what is causing the motion sickness and then it tends to stop? Certain strong smells in the car would make me sick, not having enough fluid or food. Don't try and distract them by reading or looking at something, otherwise that can bring it on, music and sitting in coolness basically is the best way :)

One needs a steady distant horizon to look at, for a starter and if possible.

I used to teach people to fly and had one who was sick when doing aerobatics or sitting thru mine! The answer was a pair of elsticated wrist bands with a small plastic hemisphere sewn on the inner surface to be placed on a pressure point on the inside of the wrist. Sold as C bands

For a child one could make a wrist band with a coffee bean or a small peanut to act on the pressure point. They worked for my student and you are only £6 out of pocket if they don't work for your child. Good luck!
