Been reading similar queries with the peugeot 307 HDI rapier 110. Our problem is that when driving the 'nblock diesel filter light'comes on, shortly afterwards anti pollution fault comes on then restricts the power. The engine doesn't cut out We have had the diesel and pollution filters changed and had additive tank filled and the problem still persists. Peugeot can't find the problem. Can anyone help us really like the drive of the car but this problem is annoying!
Hoping to take the car driving aound the Lakes with the kids but not sure if its safe to do so!

What idiot changed the diesel filter...?
That warning means that there's something amiss with the FAP [diesel particulate filter] in the exhaust.
What's the mileage and is your usage compatible with a DPF-equipped car? What exact fault-codes were found?
What "pollution filter" was changed?

Not sure about the pollution filter left it to the garage, nothing was said about warning codes the milage is 67300, have read about the partical filter in the exhaust do you think this maybe the problem, roughly how much would it cost to replace?

This can't have been a Peugeot dealer; they are thoroughly familiar with FAPs and would never make these amateurish mistakes?
Yes; the FAP in the exhaust should have been changed [around £375] and the additive system refilled; fully serviced and the counter re-set.
If everything isn't exactly right it won't inject and the whole shebang turns into a rolling, wallet-emptying, nightmare. There are no half-fixes with a FAP; these systems are specialist territory.

Thanks for that info srewloose, i took the car back to where i bought it from they took it to the peugoet dealer(franchaise) and said that they filled the additive up and everything was ok, then my warranty run out and I took it back and they changed the diesel/pollution filter. Look like I will have to pay out for the FAP to be done properly!

They say... that they took it to the dealer - have you spoken to the dealer and heard what they have to say?
Don't forget the six-month presumption of pre-existence in the law now.

Thanks srewloose for your knowledge about mechanical problems, I have had the car for nearly 2years after it came back from the garage the lights stayed off for a bit then came back on with a vengenace! Will have to pay for the work to be done properly seems the only solution. Thanks again for your help.
