Hot turbos and stop/start
This car has Stop/Start technology. It can be switched off if one remembers in time.
You recommend allowing an engine to run at idle or thereabouts after a long, swift run to avoid baking the turbo - have you got a recommendation for this situation please?

It won't auto stop when the turbo is too hot. But after towing or after a long ascent you need to switch off the stop start. Mostly stop start operates in traffic where the turbo does not get hot enough to worry about.

A big improvement on the previous C-Class. Feels well built and robust. Very comfortable and refined. High quality ride. Good CDI diesels.
