Ford Grand C-MAX 'child lock malfunction' message
I own a 2013 Ford C-MAX. Recently, it has started to show a 'child lock malfunction' message on the information display. The key fob no longer locks or unlocks the rear door (driver's side) and the power window also doesn't work. I have checked the fuse and it's fine. I have also sprayed WD40 on all hinges & switches, but no luck.
Can anyone please tell me how to resolve this malfunction?

Sometimes this can be cured by pressing down the child lock button on the door. It can be the case that it's triggered by a low battery if the car isn't getting used - in which case you could consider a trickle charger.

Neat styling. More practical than a Ford Focus. Fine blend of ride comfort, handling and driver enjoyment. High-quality interior.
