Do I need to tell my insurer if I attend a speed awareness course?
Do I have to inform my insurance company of a speeding offence if I was not fined, no penalty points were issued and I attended a speed awareness course? The course tutor said I do not need to inform anyone.

I was caught doing 36mph in a 30mph zone and have to attend a course on speeding. As I have not been prosecuted or had points put on my licence, do I need to inform my vehicle insurer?

My son is to attend a speed awareness course - his insurer states that the Insurance Ombudsmen says he does not have to declare it on an insurance application but I think this is sailing close to the wind....
