Electric wing mirrors are not working after car wash
A few weeks ago I bought used (2006 model) Ford Focus. Everything was working fine before I sent it to a local cleaning centre to do a full interior clean. Now both the electric wing mirrors are not working. I think some water got inside the switch, but I can't remove it. Can you offer any tips?

You can leave it and hope it eventually dries out. You could try a hairdryer on a low heat over the general area. Otherwise you have to dismantle it and dry out the moisture. A short could have fused the circuit, of course, so you'd better check the fuse as well.

My driver's wing mirror was hit and I ordered a new one. The cover comes primed and I bought the appropriate colour spray from Halfords. Is it okay to spray just using this as it already comes primed?...
