We sold our car but now the buyer says there's something wrong and wants compensation - is this a scam?
We sold our car after the buyer had a test drive, but the buyer is suggesting there is something wrong with the car, contrary to any issues in the past. They are now asking to be compensated for more than they paid. Have there been any similar scam tactics reported?

If the buyer has test driven the car, accepted its condition and then purchased it, essentially that is the end of transaction as long as you have fairly represented the condition of the car. This is a tactic sometimes employed by people who are seeking to take advantage of private sellers, so we would suggest not engaging in any further communication.
